Jody H. Cooper brings over 20 years of executive search experience to North Line Partners – a boutique executive search firm that offers unparalleled service for clients and candidates with a focus on private equity and family-owned businesses. Jody spent eight previous years with the firm and returned recently as Senior Client Partner.
Jody is known for flawless execution of general management roles, plus e-Commerce, marketing, finance and sales – all with a focus on driving significant growth and creating enterprise value. She also has a proven track record of partnering with organizations that strive to evolve and elevate their reputation through Corporate Social Responsibility. Clients have included KIND Snacks, Plum Organics, Intelligentsia Coffee, Basic American Foods, Red Monkey Foods, Ocean Spray, Workiva, Maui Jim, AKIRA, QVC, Big Lots!, Carhartt, Amway, Equity Lifestyle Properties, Astellas Pharmaceuticals, StriVectin, San Francisco Salt Company, Helmsley Charitable Trust and Fashion Scholarship Fund.
Previous search leadership roles include Managing Director for nonprofit search firm Sandler Search, Client Partner for Korn/Ferry International and Director of Talent Acquisition for Pittsburgh-based American Eagle Outfitters. Her early career includes four years with a global advertising agency, FCB, and five years in corporate relocation.
Jody earned her MBA in Marketing from Vanderbilt University’s Owen School of Management where she was the recipient of the Graduate Business Foundation’s Leadership Award and the Saturn Company Student Leadership Service Award. She earned her BA from Northwestern University in History.
She has held Board roles with the Graduate Business Foundation and the Craig D. Tifford Foundation. Originally from New York City, Jody and her family live in Chicago’s northern suburbs.
