Brad Holden is a Founder and Managing Partner of North Line Partners - a boutique executive search firm he founded in 2010. He has nearly 20 years of recruiting experience.
Prior to North Line Partners, Brad was a Partner with Heidrick & Struggles, where he served as Practice Leader, Global Automotive and as a Partner in the Global Industrial Practice from 2004 to 2010. For two years, he also served as the Managing Partner of the firm's five Midwest offices. Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Brad was the Office Managing Partner of TMP Worldwide, while also serving as Co-Leader of the Global Industrial Practice. Prior to TMP, Brad's search experience included nearly 10 years with Korn/Ferry International, where he served as President of the Global Industrial and Energy Practices his last few years with the firm.
Prior to entering executive search in 1992, Brad served in both Illinois government and industry. He began his career in government. After serving as an Illinois Staff Assistant to Senator Charles H. Percy (R-IL), he first served the Director of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, and later the Illinois Attorney General, as Chief of Staff. He later joined Container Corporation of America (CCA) as a Senior State Issues Manager, and FMC Corporation as a public affairs advisor to FMC's Chairman and CEO.
Brad attended the university of Wisconsin-Madison for two years, before graduating from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Economics. He serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Juvenile Protective Association (JPA), a century-old child welfare organization. Brad and his wife Becky have three children and live in Chicago's Northern Suburbs.

Betsy Tilkemeier is a Founder and Managing Partner of North Line Partners - a boutique executive search firm she co-founded in 2010. The mission of North Line Partners is to deliver fast, high-quality recruitment services through Partner involvement in all aspects of every engagement.
With nearly 20 years in executive search, Betsy has expertise in retail and consumer markets with a particular focus serving clients who go to market through multiple/alternative distribution channels including direct selling and eCommerce. Her expertise also includes in-depth experience within health and wellness, nutrition and personal care. She has successfully completed senior level general management and marketing searches for: YoCrunch, Plum Organics, See's Candies, Neways, StriVectin, ViSalus Sciences, Revolutions Foods, Amway, QVC, True Value, Carhartt, Isagenix and The Pampered Chef. Betsy also has expertise serving private equity clients. Since founding North Line Partners, she has successfully recruited many CEOs and CMOs for portfolio companies of Catterton Partners, ZCapital, SAC Capital, Roark Capital Group and Berkshire Hathaway. Betsy also has expertise in corporate communications having recruited senior leaders to Amway, Kendall Jackson, QVC, Comcast and Polo Ralph Lauren.
Prior to North Line Partners, Betsy was a Partner at Heidrick & Struggles in the firm's Global Consumer Markets Practice serving Consumer and Retail clients. She began her search career with another large recruiting firm, first as an Associate and then advancing to Client Partner. Her earlier background includes R.H. Macy's Executive Training Program; Account Management at Tommy Hilfiger; and Operations and Merchandising at Neiman Marcus.
Betsy graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Betsy and her husband Jon have two children and live in Chicago's Northern Suburbs.

With nearly 20 years of search experience, Hilary has partnered with start-ups to large cap organizations to recruit some of the best executive talent in the marketplace. She has a particular expertise in consumer markets and retail organizations helping clients attract CEOs and other general managers as well as marketing executives with backgrounds in e-commerce, digital and loyalty.
Prior to North Line Partners, Hilary was with Heidrick & Struggles for 10 years. She began her executive search career in the Consumer Practice with Korn/Ferry International. Earlier in her career, Hilary was with KPMG as the Midwest Staffing Manager for the firm's Manufacturing, Retailing and Distribution management consulting practice.
Hilary has an undergraduate degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Hilary and her husband, Steve, live in Chicago's northern suburbs with their three children.

With over 12 years of experience in executive search, Jody brings a wealth of experience to North Line Partners and leads the firm's Corporate Communications Practice. Earlier in her career, Jody spent four years as a Media Planner and Account Executive for Foote, Cone & Belding Worldwide working on a variety of consumer products and healthcare accounts. She also spent four years as Regional Relocation Specialist for Howard Hanna Real Estate Services.
Jody earned her M.B.A. in Marketing from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management in 1996 where she was the recipient of the Graduate Business Foundation's National Leadership Award and the Saturn Company Student Leadership Service Award; and her B.A. in History and Italian Language from Northwestern University in 1991. She is on the Board of Directors for the Graduate Business Foundation and the Craig D. Tifford Foundation. Jody and her husband, Neal, have a daughter, Caroline, and live in Glencoe, Illinois.

Jon leverages his past operational and consulting experience to recruit top executive talent in a variety of industries including media, digital technology, industrial/manufacturing and consumer services. Prior to consulting, Jon served in senior sales, marketing and strategy roles at various organizations including Leo Burnett, Ameritech and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
He graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in business. He serves as an advisor to several startups in the digital media arena in both Chicago and New York. He lives in a North Chicago suburb with his wife, Betsy, and two sons.

Patti Hall is Client Partner for North Line Partners, a boutique executive search firm based in the Chicago area. Previously, Patti was with another large, global executive search firm, where she focused on general management assignments for industrial and consumer clients. Patti resided in Paris, France for a number of years providing her a fluency in the language and appreciation for the cultural nuances of conducting business in the global marketplace. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Ashland University. Patti resides in the greater Chicago area and currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Career Resource Center on the North Shore of Chicago.

Alexander von Berg is the founder and owner of vonbergconsulting, an international Executive Search and Board Services firm. Prior to founding his own firm in May 2009, Mr. von Berg spent almost ten years with Korn/Ferry International in Frankfurt, Germany. Before joining Korn/Ferry International, Mr. von Berg had founded MarketingConsult SA, a management and marketing consultant and executive search firm in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Prior to entering consulting, Mr. von Berg spent more than two decades with German Robert Bosch Group, a global automotive and electronics manufacturer. Prior to SHIKAR, he was Managing Partner - Europe with Korn/Ferry International.
Dick started his career in Human Resources Management, with more than 20 years as Senior Vice President for HR with Sara Lee/DE, Buhrmann - Tetterode and the Dutch Ministry of Finance.
During his years in the search business, Dick has conducted a large number of Executive Recruitment and Management Assessment assignments both in the Netherlands and the UK, as well as truly international assignments. Eduardo Matsushita is the Founding Partner of C&O Infinitas - Executive Consultants. Jennifer brings to NLP a wealth of experience in human capital management, recruitment, organizational development, cultural change, compensation and benefits and performance management.
Prior to joining North Line Partners, Jennifer was a Benefit Analyst with Mesirow Financial serving as a financial strategist. She helped clients across multiple industries better understand health care reform provisions to determine the impact on their businesses -- both financial and administrative -- and delivered proprietary benefit solutions for each client.
Earlier in her career, Jennifer spent 15 years in the banking industry, primarily in Human Resources. She was one of the original employees of North Shore Community Bank & Trust Company -- and during her tenure served as a trusted advisor to 6 different CEOs, plus the Board of Directors.
Jennifer lives in Chicago's Northern Suburbs with her son and is active in softball and golf.

Stephanie Hartman joined North Line Partners in September 2010. She has teamed with Brad Holden and Betsy Tilkemeier since 2000. Previously, Stephanie worked in the Global Industrial Practice and Global Consumer Markets Practice of Heidrick & Struggles International, where she also served for four years on the Chicago Office Quality Council responsible for internally auditing and scoring search assignments annually -- for all recruiting teams across all practice areas. Stephanie has worked on more than 200 searches. She started her recruiting career in 1999 with Russell Reynolds in their Chicago office.
Stephanie graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, where she put herself through school. In Chicago, Stephanie has been involved with many volunteer programs - including "Partners in Education" (PIE) at Fourth Presbyterian Church, now the Chicago Lights Tutoring Program, working one-on-one weekly with the same student for four years; as well as food service to the homeless via The Elam Davies Social Services Center, the annual "Blue Bow" Child Abuse Prevention program, Feed My Starving Children and the Care To Learn Fund.

Joanie brings with her over 20 years of experience as an executive assistant, having worked at Credit Suisse as the assistant to the Midwest Regional Managing Director and acted as the primary conduit between the sales group and executive leadership. She also worked in philanthropy as the executive assistant to the Vice President of External Relations at NorthShore University HealthSystem Foundation. Most recently, she worked at JP Morgan Private Bank where she supported senior bankers and trust officers in the ultra-high net worth area.
Joanie is known in both the financial services industry and not-for-profit sector for her knowledge and expertise in client service. Joanie earned an Associate's degree in Business from Mallinckrodt College.

Nora is a Researcher at North Line Partners. Originally a Chicago resident, she moved to Austin, Texas for high school and college. She attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies. In Austin, Nora was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, which works closely with National CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children. She was also a volunteer for West Austin Caregivers, an organization offering free transportation and personal services to Austin's elderly community. After graduation, she moved back to Chicago to begin her professional life, joining North Line Partners in September 2010. Nora has a strong affiliation within recruiting - her father, Michael, was CEO at Korn/Ferry International in the late 1990s.
